Veranstaltung: Leuphana in der Denkerei: Approaching Atmospheres

22.–23.10.2012, Berlin, Denkerei

Organised by the Centre for Digital Cultures (CDC), Leuphana University Lüneburg

Thinking about atmospheres has a rich tradition in German theory - a tradition that currently undergoes a revival (for an overview, see "Atmosphären”, edited by Christiane Heibach 2012). In this workshop we will look at this body of work and match it with new approaches stemming from Anglo-Saxon and East Asian traditions.

We are interested in theories, empirical approaches and atmospheric interventions.

Venue: Denkerei, Oranienplatz 2, 10999 Berlin, Tel: 030-61671001

Monday, Oct 22 (open to all) and Tuesday Oct 23 (closed)
